I dl'ed this about a yr ago somewhere and thought the performance was great but it felt dead in b/w. I used the Photos app that comes w Windows to tint it slightly beige, and made it widescreen ("Remove Black Bars" function) and those two simple changes really brought it to life.

That's nice to know, Edbert. I usually shun Windows.

They deserved a better soundman.

They deserved that and a lot more, but I imagine it was like CV19 is today; no one took it seriously and they obviously didn't quite know how to respond or deal. Compare this to any big league show from the 70s forward, complete with roadies, laser lights, special effects, etc. Ringo and the band have to spin that rickety drum riser around themselves?!? Please!

Very cool to see them spinning Ringo around. The sweat is just pouring off Paul's face-all that energy--a real treat, thanks Ed!

Fricking Ed Sullivan scolded the audience demanding more applause. This was Ed's habbit.
