Firesign Theatre - I Think We're All Bozos

Here is a Firesign Theatre offering I overlooked. Included with this CD reissue are 10 pages of interesting notes by David Ossman and Phil Austin. Link in comments.

*Here you go*

By the way, I've got another thing by Firesign Theatre that you might never have heard of. Stay tuned.

And Don't Crush That Dwarf as well. This weekend I found that beyond the product I missed there is more I had never heard of. How about this one;

TOY WARS

This LP put the troupe into superstardom. And, it's one of their best. Can't wait to read the notes....
THANX!

Thanks Edfray. Introduced this to my friends back when it was released and I ended up with the moniker of Uh Clem.

BTW: I could have sworn I found the 3 album collection of Conception Corporation but it is nowhere on my hard drive and I can not find any trace of it on any blog. If you know of a link I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks again

Clem

I agree with you Timmy. Bozos was ambitious and they really pulled it off. I hadn't heard of Conception Corporation until you mentioned it, Uh-Clem. I drilled Usenet for it and found only the first of the 3 albums. I can post that. But I want all three... Argh...

So, Uh-Clem, I found a 63-track collection of Conception Corporation stuff and strongly suspect it includes their entire audio catalog - I could be wrong. Should we just forget it?

I have the first 2 Conception Corporation albums on vinyl but they are not in the best of condition. Never knew there was a third album so that was the real holy grail tho I wouldn't mind having the first two without all the pops and crackles. Of course, if you have listened to it you already know this is prime material for your blog followers. Everyone needs to hear Dial a Dirty Joke. :)

In the meantime I just drove 40 miles to score a Craigslist super deal on a Korg synthesizer and found the seller was a Firesign fanatic. Swears he has over 50 CDs of FST rarities including a 12 CD set of Dear Friends and another set of The Lost Dear Friends Shows. Also remember him mentioning Radio Free Oz and FST Radio Hour Hour among other things.

Not only does he have to locate these but he will be moving his family out of state in a few weeks so I will make an attempt to hook up with him again and rip as much of these as I possibly can.

Drool. I'm about to post the CC thing I found on Usenet and suspect that it is the first 2 albums with the third album that might be incomplete. Good luck on your mission.

Clem pretty much all of that came out on Duke of Madness Motors a couple years ago.

I'd never heard of Conception Corporation (only Congress of Wonders) but I just checked Soulseek and found at least two of their albums. Still downloading.
