Florence Foster Jenkins - A Tribute

This documentary about Madam Jenkins describes her life and performances and contains the wonderful interview with her pianist Cosme McMoon. There is also some singing by Florence Foster Jenkins herself. Oh well. Link in comments.

I think it is quite fine that you shared this here. Florence is buried at the Hollenback Cemetery in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania - a five minute drive or less, depending on traffic from my house.

Much appreciated. - Jnj

A very sweet film-Meryl Streep does a great job of singing badly and Simon Helberg (Wollowitz from Big Bang Theory) is a piano virtuoso. Great to see this documentary, thanks Ed!

Will have to check this out. Looks very interesting.
The Streep movie was excellent, fine performances by all!
After seeing this I wondered if Florence was the inspiration for Mrs. Miller! Same concept, but Mrs. Miller actually produced several albums. Remembering hiding one of here LPs in the stack between Pink Floyd and The Who. Almost got killed for that!

Thanks!
