Tree-freaking-MENDOUS! As W.C. "World's Greatest Juggler" Fields fan, I do feel more than justified invoking such language... His bio is well worth looking up, one of the truly unique figures in the history of American show business: The wise-cracking pantomime drunk from Old Time Movies presents less than the tip of an iceberg.

Fields and Groucho and their compatriots had something today's "comics" have never tasted, intelligence and brilliance. They were truly witty and smart and talented, and that's why so many of us admire any glimpse or taste of their art we can get. Fields waged a successful war against the movie studio bosses and censors that makes me laugh every time I watch a film of his for the millionth time.

Thanks, Edfray.

These plugs are better than anything I could conjure up. This comedy was a social force wasn't it.
