I wore out my first LP copy of this LP, his first two LPs never get old for me. Saw him live just after "King Tut" was released, and it will always be a top 5 concert trip for me. Thanks for this.
I asked an LA chum why Martin didn't make funny movies any more (he was going through that Father Of The Bride stuff at the time), and it's because they don't make any money, and he can't get them bankrolled. I think Bowfinger was his last "true comedy" movie, and that didn't get the crowds in off the streets. Not because he stopped being a wild and crazy guy, but because the public wouldn't shell out for a lousy ticket to see him being one.
