Bob and Ray - The Two And Only - 1973

Bob and Ray worked clean and still managed to be very funny. A theatrical run of theirs was made into this record. Link in comments.

I had to laugh at your description, "worked clean and still managed to be very funny" as if the overuse of profanity somehow showed comedic talent.
David Brenner used to tell the story of the time, early on, when a club owner came to him after his set and said, "you're good enough to work clean."

I actually got this record form the public library many years ago when I got a REAL stereo for Christmas but did not have any decent records to play on it. Can't wait to hear it now.

Thank you

You are very welcome. I was trying to be subtly sarcastic which is probably not a good idea. I am not done looking for product that you might like. Please stay tuned.

Yourinitial comment is justified. When my daughter was a bit younger (she's alomst 37), she started watching "The Dick Van Dyke Show." She was surprised to see how much she laghed atTV that lacked sex jokes, profanity or toilet jokes.

The "kids" have a lot to learn.

Totally agree with you, Freddie. The Dick Van Dyle Show is still on that I watch to this day as it was so well done it transcends time.

And no need to apologize Edray. You just stumbled upon an issue in comedy today. You do great work with this site. Thank you again.
