In 1976 Star Trek was thriving with syndication, the cartoons and novels, and convention appearances by Gene Roddenberry. This LP was part of Roddenberry promoting the franchise and trying to make a movie happen - and he succeeded.
Two of my most prized possessions back in college days were a copy of this, and a set of the Enterprise blueprints that were a hot item. Thanks, Edfray!
I have this on CD, released as Disc 2 of the 20th Anniversary score for Star Trek: The Motion Picture, but it includes added stuff from Nichelle Nichols. I'd love to hear what the original release was like and if anything was *removed* to make room for Nichelle. BTW, both of the links in the comments here are for the Audio Book of the same name by Herb Solow and Robert Justman. Do you happen to still have the 1970s audio album?

DonHo57, I still have them, though college for me was probably not as long ago as it was for you.
Thank you Edfray !!

No way because I have discarded all my records, cassettes, and videotapes. Oh well.
