National Lampoon - Lemmings - 1973

I was aware of the record but not the off-Broadway show which became the HBO film that never aired.  Perhaps the ensemble disappointed the Suits at HBO. A copy of the film is on YouTube right now but you will prefer this video file which is twice the size and twice the quality.  Link in comments.

Hey Mr. Edfray,
I just found your site via Williard's...
Very cool share. I didn't go to see this show, but I was part of the original group of artists and creatives that art directed the early National Lampoon when Doug and Henry came to NYC...
So I'm into all things Lampoon, within reason. Rick Meyerowitz book and now video is totally dismissive of the Cloud Studio, but to the historians, it seems except for the web, go the spoils of history. (however, Doug Kenny loved us and Henry HATED us... and all the other suits. In finality, if you want to mock something, it's best to look exactly like it but trash it intellectually, so the mission was not to be an underground publication, but a mock-u-mentary of American culture, and in that, Rick is right.

I'll be back to see more Lampoon stuff, of course, and Happy Holidays, Best Wishes, and know I'll be sharing the Lemmings Show with friends from those days.

LIKE LAMPOON: I just got reCAPTURA that was pictorial, and it told me to Prove I'm not a robot: "Select all images with wheelchairs". True.

Wow. Will it get more and more 'personal' to prove we aren't robots? Thanks for the info about Cloud Studio and NatLamp. Enjoy the warez - a few more related items are on the way.

Thank you so much for posting this - I tried to watch the crap quality video on YouTube but couldn't manage it... Very much wanted to see this because the album doesn't include all the songs. Also timely to find this, with the announcement of the authorised documentary of John Belushi going into production later this year.
