Music expert, author, and WFMU DJ Irwin Chusid sifted a lot of music to find what he describes as Incorrect or Outsider Music. He wrote a great book about this which you can find on Amazon. He also did a WFMU show called Incorrect Music with the clever and quick Michelle Boule' for some years. Many of these early shows are gone from WFMU's online archive which will not do.
Here are the 18 earliest shows in my collection. Here are 3 CD's worth divided into 6 downloads. Links in comments.

Nicely begged, Anon. Thanks for those links. The sound quality is certainly better than my warez, which were ripped from low-quality WFMU RealAudio. Here is volume 2, in a 340MB zip. Enjoy;

Here are the rest - volumes 3, 4, 5, and 6. And that's all I've got. It was a great show.

DUDE. Thank you. I was a huge huge fan of this show years ago, before a lot of the archives were taken down. I am eternally greatful.
You are very welcome.
Fabulous! Thank you so much for posting these.
My casettes have likely degraded in storage.
Honorable mention to the forerunner of Incorrect Music
'atrocious music' a show produced by Uncle Irwin circa mid 1980s.
RIP Sweet Michelle Boule -
God rest your soul (sigh)
RIP other 'FMU staff of their respective eras - Vanilla Bean, Frank O'Toole, TK Folger, Rob Weissberg and whomever I missed.
Dedicated to Figleaf - no band rocked it quite like you. Spinal tap got nothing on Figleaf.
You are welcome. Michelle actually is gone, just as you said.
Does anyone else have more archives of this show? Possibly pre-2000 shows? I've been needing to sift through more of these archives to obtain some now unable to be found online audio gold.
I'm with you, Unknown. I want them all.
I will see what I can do.
Unknown; The WFMU site makes me believe they do not retain any pre-2000 shows. Makes me sad.
Thanks Edfray, these shows are great!
....but 5 and 6 are down, anyway you can resuscitate these ancient links?
These sound like they are going to be a lot of fun. Thank you.
These links are going bad as per the new policies of Google. As promised. Ugh.
