Greetings From Duck's Breath - 1985

This cassette was available in 1985 which proves that Wikipedia doesn't know everything. It collected material by the Ducks between Out Of Season( 1980 ) and Born To Be Tiled( 1986 ). And there is more stuff from The Ducks out there. Link actually in comments, honest.

The Best Of TKK - 2004

My Life With The Thrill Kill Kult still exists and did a new CD just last year. This Best-Of from 2004 was a fine survey of the band so-far and is out-of-print. Link in comments. Here is a link to a very early album from TKK as well.

Eight Miles High - Joe Goldmark

All of the harmony in this song from The Byrds seems to survive the transcription for Pedal-Steel Guitar. Press play and see if you think so too. Crank it up.

This Old Heart Of Mine - 1989

This tune was 5 weeks at number 1 in 1989. It's too bad Ron Isley and Rod Stewart did not record a few more tunes together. If you would like the video, freshly ripped from a 26 year-old video cassette, the link is in the comments.

No Matter What Shape - 1966

This tune was used in an Alka-Seltzer commercial and then momentarily shot up the radio charts to number 3. Play it.

Dumbo and Pinocchio

Here are 2 more Disney Records. Jiminy Cricket appeared in the Pinocchio film and also narrates the Pinocchio record. His later films included working with Donald Duck I believe.

Polynesia!

Here is some Polynesian music recorded before it was improved by electric guitars, caucasian songstresses, and Webley Edwards. For myself I like the lap-steel sound that was introduced years later. Link in comments.

Disney - The Scarecrow Of Oz

It's fun to hear Ray Bolger portray the Scarecrow again on this Disney record. The story is based on the L. Frank Baum book of the same name. Illustrations are included. Link in comments.

John Fahey Visits Washington - 1979

John Fahey founded Takoma Records and propelled the careers of Leo Kottke and others. I didn't read the Tsunami of text on the back of this particular record jacket having fallen for this old Fahey trick previously. Be my guest. Link in comments.

Stephen Oliver - Lord of The Rings - 1981

A lot of fans know Stephen Oliver as the composer of the music for Lady Jane. He wrote for the theater and also did this for the BBC Radio adaptation of Lord Of The Rings. This music should remind you of what you loved about Lady Jane. Link in comments.

Ask Doctor Science - 1991

Here are 40 or so Ask Doctor Science spots that were often heard on Public Radio back when. They were created by Dan Coffey and Merle Kessler of Iowa's own expatriated Duck's Breath Mystery Theatre. Also included is the radio play Dr. Science And The Sea Monkeys From Hell. Link in comments. I also recommend the TV special The Ask Dr Science Official National Science Test on Youtube.

Hawaiian Favorites - 1957

America sure seemed to be in love with Hawaii after World War 2. As a young paperboy I saw a lot of living rooms with Hawaiian themes. By the way, the model on the record jacket isn't authentically Hawaiian - she's more like the music inside.

Bambi, Hansel and Grettel, and The Sorcerer's Apprentice

Here are three Disney records. The production is good, and Sterling Holloway does the voice work on the third disk. Sterling also reads Peter And The Wolf on the flip-side, making 4 tales in all with cover art included.
