Here is some Polynesian music recorded before it was improved by electric guitars, caucasian songstresses, and Webley Edwards. For myself I like the lap-steel sound that was introduced years later. Link in comments.

Stephen Oliver - Lord of The Rings - 1981

A lot of fans know Stephen Oliver as the composer of the music for Lady Jane. He wrote for the theater and also did this for the BBC Radio adaptation of Lord Of The Rings. This music should remind you of what you loved about Lady Jane. Link in comments.

Here are 40 or so Ask Doctor Science spots that were often heard on Public Radio back when. They were created by Dan Coffey and Merle Kessler of Iowa's own expatriated Duck's Breath Mystery Theatre. America sure seemed to be in love with Hawaii after World War 2. As a young paperboy I saw a lot of living rooms with Hawaiian themes. By the way, the model on the record jacket isn't authentically Hawaiian - she's more like the music inside.

Here are three Disney records. The production is good, and Sterling Holloway does the voice work on the third disk. Sterling also reads Peter And The Wolf on the flip-side, making 4 tales in all with cover art included.

The have a lot of fun here and don't seem to anticipate the Church Of England s***-storm that would soon arrive.
