The Yeager Tapes... An Autobiography

Here is the autobiography of Chuck Yeager as read by Bob Collins, mostly, and by Chuck and his wife Glennis. Chuck describes his life as a hunter, an airplane mechanic, a pilot, and a leader. He was shot down during WW2 but escaped and returned to duty over Europe. After the war he became a test pilot and broke the speed of sound. You will see how military jealousies complicated his career. They always do. Six wonderful hours of audio. Link in comments.

My LIfe With The Thrill Kill Kult - Kooler Than Jesus

TKK launched in 1987 and helped popularize Industrial Music - along with Ministry, KMFDM, and others. They pursued controversy right out of the chute. I couldn't resist this cassette. It's just silly fun, actually. Link in comments.

Guy Marks - Loving You Has Made Me Bananas - 1968

We were all bemused in the spring of 1968 when this silly tune was being played on the air every hour, all day long. Guy Marks sings the hit song and other old novelty tunes. Peter De Angelis was the main arranger and waves the stick. Link in comments.

The Excalibur Soundtrack - 1981

The Popeye Soundtrack - 1980

It's back. Robin Williams was wonderful as Popeye and Shelly Duvall was born to play Olive Oyl. The movie was bizarre - just like the cartoon. Link in comments.

Eric Clapton - Forever Man

What a solo. I heard this and badly wanted to buy an electric guitar. The female chorus adds a lot.

Gigi - I Remember It Well

There was little to like in Gigi except this. Maurice Chevalier and Hermione Gingold talk and sing. If you and I were to go on a trip together I would eventually perform this and you would hear me. Sorry.
