The British TV series THUNDERBIRDS begat this movie that played state-side in 1968. I caught it in a theater that had lots of empty seats. Call it a puppet show if you must but we would rather you called it SUPERMARIONATION. Marionettes don't you know. Gerry Anderson designed the marionettes and miniature vehicles and rockets and space stations and aeroplanes and so-on. If you can find a way of taking this thing seriously then more power to you. Watch it again or for the first time right here. Do it. Link in comments.

Yes. It did take 11 minutes and 11 seconds to launch the ZERO X. But well worth it.

These are real people that just look like puppets (that`s my theory and i`m sticking to it.) Thanks for this "classic".

State of the art animation for its time and kind.....

I watched the TV series for the elaborate miniature sets.
Something I always thought I would like to do when grown up.....
alas

Cheers

Actually, to be clear, Gerry Anderson did NOT design the marionettes and miniature vehicles and rockets and space stations and aeroplanes and so-on...but the people he had working under him did a bang-up job under his employ.
