The Apple - 1980

The Golan-Globus business plan was to buy cheap scripts and make them into cheap films. There was a big demand for product in the early eighties and Golan-Globus delivered THE APPLE, DEATHWISH, LIFEFORCE, and lots more. Link in comments.

Thanks, one of the crazier movies ever made!

Thank you. Never ever heard of this one.

Footnote; The Crowd you see rushing a futuristic building in the beginning of THE APPLE is entering the International Congress Centrum in West Germany. It was one of the largest convention centers in the world. It is currently closed while German officials argue over plans for upgrades and ASBESTOS MITIGATION!

Until Rifftrax, I had never heard of this film and I watched A LOT of Golan-Globus films growing up. Thank you for the post.

You are very welcome. I'm going to look for more Golan-Globus product other than Lifeforce.
