Fantastico !

As a 52 Y.O. revisionist in London, and Irish to begin with, I had never heard of this show. But I do like a bit of Jan & Dean, so it's a treat, many thanks.

After a little searchin, I discovered that there was a full James Brown special of Action [The YT clips are wonderfully intimate], fingers x'd you have that full show, and you'll be generously sharing that sometime soon. Edfray, I live in eternal hope.

Cheers old chap.

Have a wonderful weekend.

Was there a full show with James or was it just these short performances ? I was under the impression he did a full set on one episode....

I just found a lot of James Brown but they were all five minute performances. But. I surfed some more and found a 58 minute thing with James Brown that you might really want.

Find it on youtube by searching for;

James Brown The Godfather of Soul Live @ the Roundhouse, London 27th October 2006.

It is almost an hour long. Enjoy.

I can download the thing for you and could show you how you could do the same.

MANY many thanks fella. I'd watched a bit of the Boston show but forgotten all about it, so many many thanks. It was fabulous to watch the whole thing, with the mayor, Marva, Bobby, and of course Maceo Parkers comedy bits were funny, to watch, although not many LOLs....But that was a heavy vibe, the night after Kings assassination, and what a show.

And in such great quality, both sound and visuals [let's not mention that every mic back then sounded like https://youtu.be/CQm1N0ZDnKs?t=73 ;] ;] ;]

BTW. Where you at, no posting these days ? We miss you. Well, I miss you.

Cheers ole chap, have a great weekender !
