I <3 pretty much everything Firesign Theater. And, come to think of it, a LOT of other stuff you dig up, upload, and link to. This may sound self-congratulatory and it is, but obviously yer a very smart man (or chatterbot or alien or...) with class, taste and style. How can I tell? See above. :D
Ya know what else I like? Sad to say, this here very 'primitive,' default mode Leave Your Comment page I'm typing in right now. For reasons best known to God knows who, I find myself "positively locked out" from commenting on blog posts where and as the operator has installed a "fancy looking" comments dingus. I have done everything short of kidnapping Sergey Brin and the current NSA director, and beating on them with a pistol until they see reason... and no dice.

I say it takes Class to recognize Class. Thank you. I was enjoying your praise but then you suddenly changed the subject... I think you need to be logged onto Google, knowingly or otherwise, for you to make comments on Blogspot blogs such as this one. The Firefox browser makes it possible for you to simultaneously be logged onto Google twelve-ways-to-Sunday and the Chrome browser does not. If you using browser "X", from Apple, perhaps, then back luck. Are we having fun yet? Firesign did some shows for Sirius radio when Sirius was new. I think they riffed through them with little preparation. Are you interesting in hearing this stuff?
Attempting to post replies as Anonymous, Name + URL, or logged into s valid Google account makes no difference. Google hates me, is all. That's mutual, so I can't even honestly complain. Much. Often.
Choice of browser makes no difference: Firefox, Chrome, Opera, Lynx, same result. So it's probably not a browser issue.
Proxies - simple or anonymizing - make no difference; so, probably not an IP address range issue.
Needs Microsoft operating system? Very unlikely, and not worth the trouble of even testing since I don't have such a thing in the house just now. Beware of Linux - it's gotten stupidly easy to install and use, and very addictive in recent years.
As of now I officially give up. I'm just gonna be anti-social leech in silence except where/as allowed to do otherwise. I do post stuff at twilightzone-rideyourpony.blogspot.com from time to time, so at least it's not a totally one way street. When my posts exceed the "three albums a day" limit there, they also land here: When I have FLAC files I post them /and/ downscaled MP3s, because folks' hearing, bandwidth and storage capacity vary widely: dianabrill.wordpress.com
The tools provided at wordpress.com are surprisingly primitive and limited (nothing at all like real WordPress), but adequate for my very simple purposes.
Meanwhile, I have my doubts about Firesign stuff made post Y2K. I trust the judgment of some guy who said "I think they riffed through them with little preparation." Probly not worth your effort to upload, least of all on my account.
Thanks again for the Firesign Theatre posts. As Diana commented above, those 4 or 5 Krazy guys hit big with the sophisticated, erudite, cosmopolitan college set in the late 60s and early 70s; a time that saw the resurgence of W.C. Fields and the Marx Brothers (also shamelessly self-congratulatory...sorry). Witty fellows, those, in the classic sense of "wit".
Forward, into the Past!
(any future FT posts will be greatly appreciated!)
