Thanks for posting this. Haven't seen this film since it hit cable in the 80s one summer home from school. Always think of it though when I hear lotta love. A shame this doesn't at least end up on one of those multi movie sets but the music holds it back, probably forever. Well, thanks again and take care!
I was commenting about it on amazon a few years ago, they had the VHS tape there listed for a little while and someone told me I should let it stay in the past. But they don't know me. lol I remember the first time I saw Marty and The Personals suddenly came to mind. Not sure if they even compare... but I've been looking for this movie for years and years.
Finally watched the movie months back. It's been years but I sure had a great time seeing it again. It was everything I remembered. I wouldn't have noticed it back then but it reminded me a bit of Woody Allen. The setting feels like New York. One note, just a short time before watching it I watched a Taxi episode that had a very similar mismatched date Alex went on with a loud annoying lady, only the date in this movie was funnier. I guess that idea is original for either. Anyway, I'd definitely buy a reasonably priced blu ray of this title as long as the terrific soundtrack is intact. Thanks again for keeping this movie alive.

A lot of people have a soft spot for this film. It's sweet. It's charming.

Thanks. Couldn't find this anywhere, not even a used VHS purchase, and my mother really, really wanted to see it.

You are very welcome Radioman. I am earning my angel wings. I don't recall the media type I found it on. The sister-in-law loved it.
