During production, some publicity photos featuring the interior of the B-52 bomber were published. Air Force Intelligence paid a visit to Mr. Kubric on set, asking where and how he obtained classified details of the plane's configuration. The production staff walked the spooks through where and how they researched their set design, and the AF guys walked away satisfied.
