I do think it's one of the best episode that gives a lot of fleshing out to Emma Peel. It is indicative of the 'spy-fi' aesthetic it was evolving towards as we neared the color seasons, and was kind of clever standing on its own.
I have seen every episode of THE AVENGERS multiple times (It is my favorite TV show of all time)...so I can say this with some authority.
thanks for this. Excellent episode. My personal favorite is The Hour that Never Was (season 4, episode 9). For mood and content, I prefer the earlier black and white episodes.
